Young Artist in Tuscany 2019

Alyse Faith was the Young Artist of Flutes in Tuscany 2019. The award gave Alyse a fully funded place on the Flutes in Tuscany course, along with recital opportunities, masterclasses and lessons, as well as the opportunity to work with pianist, Sally Birkett. The course was held on 13th-21st July 2019 in Tereglio, Italy. During the course, Alyse was mentored by guest tutor, Philippa Davies as well as Elizabeth Walker and Sarah Murphy.

Alyse performed her recital as the Young Artist alongside pianist, Sally Birkett on the 15th July 2019 in the Chapel of Tereglio. The program included:

J.S. Bach B minor Sonata
Ferroud 3 Pieces for Solo Flute: Begère Captive, Jade, Toan-Yan: La Fête du double cinq
Schubert Introduction & Variations on Trockne Blumen

Alyse was thrilled to perform and loved playing alongside Sally Birkett, who is a wonderful pianist. The duet are looking forward to presenting their second recital on 15th June 2020 at Benslow Music. See event details here.
